Elite Division I Attack Standout – Played women’s lacrosse at Stony Brook University, where she became one of the program’s most prolific offensive players and its first All-American in school history.
NCAA Record Holder – Set the NCAA single-game record for assists with 11 in a game against Longwood, and holds the NCAA record for career assists per game (3.18).
Dominant Stats & Leadership – In 2012 and 2013, she led Stony Brook in assists and points, finished high on the team stat charts, and served as team captain during NCAA Tournament play.
All-America & Conference Honors – Earned national recognition, including IWLCA All-American honors and America East Player of the Year during her collegiate career.
Petersen elevated both Adelphi University (winning Division II titles before transferring) and Stony Brook lacrosse into record books and postseason prominence. Hall of Fame Stony Brook 2012 & 2013. 15 years experience coaching/ training youth.
