WORLD SERIES
The 1st Girls Lacrosse World Series Qualifier was held at DE Turf March 16th, a monumental step in the girls lacrosse world. This allows girls to compete at the highest level, creating a series that rivals the Little League World Series for the sport of lacrosse.
We had both of our 2031 teams, 2031 Crush and 2031 Lightning, qualify to compete to move on. The 2031 Crush came into the event ranked #6 in the country by USClubLax. They made their name heard, making a push to the championships, but ultimately fell short in a close game against Tradition. Despite not being the outright winner of the qualifier, the GLWS still awarded the ‘31 Orange Crush with a bid to the Championship tournament in Philadelphia July 1st-3rd.
The first ever Girls Lacrosse World Series Championship tournament was held in Philadelphia July 1st-3rd. Team 91 2031 Crush advanced to the first ever girls LWSC where they took on Long Island Legacy. Holly Schenkel and Harely Leake each landed on the ALL-WORLD team and were recognized at the closing ceremony.
