Coach Morgan Molinari Joins 2032 Stars

TEAM 91 is so excited about our newest coaching addition. Along with our current coaching staff, Gerry, Timmy, Anthony, and Kevin we will be introducing Morgan Molinari to the 2032 Stars!

Coach Morgan brings so many amazing aspects to the table and we are excited for her to join us!

MEET COACH MORGAN

Morgan has been involved in athletics her entire life. She attended Sacred Heart Academy where she participated in Swimming, Basketball and Lacrosse. Upon graduating she attended the University of Notre Dame. At Notre Dame she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and played lacrosse. She holds a Masters of Science in Secondary Education from Molloy University.

Since graduating from Notre Dame, Morgan has been involved in the sport of lacrosse as a coach on numerous levels: LISGYLL, PAL, high school, club, regional and national teams. She served as the varsity coach at Sacred Heart Academy for 14 years and is involved with numerous professional organizations. She currently is on the Board of Directors of the Long Island Metro Foundation chapter of USA Lacrosse, is the USA Lacrosse All-American Chair, and serves as the Co-director of Port Washington PAL and Director of Field Hockey. Most recently she has developed a Youth Field Hockey program and a youth league on Long Island. At Sacred Heart O’Connor built the lacrosse program to become a USA Lacrosse top 20 nationally ranked program.

In her 14 year coaching career, O’Connor coached 78 players who moved to play collegiate lacrosse, 16 All-Americans, 40 Academic All-Americans, 7 Newsday All-Long Island players and 2 Jackie Pitts Award winners.

Morgan Molinari O’Connor is currently in her 16th year at Sacred Heart Academy. She is currently the Director of Athletics, Athletic Advisor and Camps Director. As the Director of Athletics she oversees 24 teams, 60 coaches and over 500 student-athletes. She serves the Catholic League as Chairwomen of the Soccer and Lacrosse leagues.

Morgan grew up in Manhasset, NY with her 5 siblings who all played Division 1 lacrosse respectively at: UMass, Duke, Georgetown, Harvard and Bucknell. She is married to Bobby O’Connor and they have three daughters, Ella, Grace and Sophie. They live in Port Washington, NY.
