NGLL Regional Championships Sunday

Team 91’s got its sights set on taking home some hardware this weekend!

Seven 91 teams have secured playoff spots in the National Girls Lacrosse League Long Island Regional Championships this Sunday at the SUSA Sports Complex. The NGLL, the only nationwide youth lacrosse league, allows the best third through eighth grade girls to compete in one of nine regional leagues across the country. The winners come together to crown a national champion on May 18-19 in Edgewood (Md.).

The 2029 Roar - ranked No. 2 nationally - and 2031 Orange Crush earned the top seed in their respective bracket. It’s a sweep of the top two seeds in both of those brackets with the 2029 Thunder and 2031 White Lightning snagging the No. 2 seed in their divisions. The 2028 Fusion and 2032 Stars are locked in to their respective No. 3 seed, while the 2030 Frenzy will look to make waves from the No. 4 seed.

This league is a premier opportunity for our girls to compete. We are proud of their hard work and we can see that it is paying off with how they’ve performed in the NGLL.
